Academics at ACS
ACS, Grades K-12, consistently ranks above the national and local average on standardized academic achievement tests.
Abilene Christian Schools is concerned with the quality of education. Our fulltime faculty members are degreed and/or certified. To best help each student the school develops a team with the parent and student so that we can together provide the best educational environment possible. Our curriculum is aligned PK-12 so that our students can move systematically through ACS and be prepared for college. Our academic programming offers:

- Core Knowledge curriculum in grades PK-8 that allows all students to experience instruction with Gifted and Talented strategies

- Two science labs and computer labs that encourage hands-on learning for our students
- Opportunities for our students to compete and excel at state academic and literary meets
- AP Calculus and Dual Credit Biology II
ACS had the highest SAT scores in all of Abilene for the 2006-2007 school year.
