There are two advanced graduation tracks:

Recommended (29 ½ - 30 Credits):

  • Two years of second language; and
  • Fourth year of math (Pre-Calculus or Math Applications)

 

Distinguished (32 ½ - 33 Credits, with additional requirements for honors classes and standardized test scores):

  • Three years of second language;
  • One additional credit of advanced math (5 math classes total);
  • One additional credit of advanced science (5 science classes total); and
  • Combination of any four of the following criteria:
  • Achieve commended scholar level using PSAT (min. 95%)
  • Complete an approved three-hour college course with a 3.0 minimum
  • Complete an additional approved three-hour college course (3.0 minimum)
  • Demonstrate readiness for college-level math, reading, and English, as evidenced by ACT and/or SAT scores 
  • Earn membership in National Honor Society
  • Achieve a minimum grade point average of 90
  • Complete school-approved service project
