An Official Core Knowledge School

The Core Knowledge Foundation promotes a curriculum that expounds the theory that a core body of knowledge exists that all citizens should have in common for the good of our culture. This program challenges students in a positive way in every subject area. Our teachers' expertise with this curriculum earned ACS the award of "Official Visitation Status." This means that other schools that wish to implement Core Knowledge will come observe our teachers.

NCSA

As a member of the National Christian School Association, an educational association of more than 120 secondary schools in 30 states serving more than 40,000 students.

TAPPS

We are a member of the Texas Association of Private & Parochial Schools (TAPPS) since 1977. TAPPS is the largest private school organization in the state. ACS participates in athletics, academic, art, and music areas.
