Ashton Perez

Golf Coach

Ashton Perez is the Head Golf Coach at Abilene Christian School. He is a graduate of Abilene Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Business. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business at ACU, further expanding his knowledge in both athletics and leadership.

Ashton has spent the past eight years dedicated to mastering the game of golf. He is currently enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program to become a certified PGA professional and is also completing certification through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) to enhance his instructional and performance-based training.

His coaching philosophy centers on helping student-athletes improve their game while enjoying the process. He emphasizes the importance of understanding how to score in all playing conditions and believes in building a strong, close-knit team culture. Ashton is committed to developing each player’s skills and mindset, guiding them toward personal and competitive success.

He is excited to lead the ACS golf team and is confident in his ability to help the program achieve new levels of excellence.
