Tuition Assistance
ACS is pleased to offer opportunities for partial tuition assistance to our K-12 families. Tuition assistance is based on demonstrated financial need and award decisions are administered according to each family’s unique circumstances. TEFA awards will be factored into the review of a family’s ability to pay when considering tuition assistance. All tuition assistance awards are determined at the discretion of ACS and are evaluated on a per-student basis.
ACS partners with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to provide an external tuition assistance application service for ACS families. The FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts an impartial and completely confidential needs assessment utilizing a secure, easy-to-complete online application.
Families applying will be required to complete an application (including submitting the
necessary supporting documentation) and pay the $40 application fee. Applicants can apply online.
The ACS Tuition Assistance Committee will review each application and determine an award (if any). The application does allow the opportunity to explain unusual circumstances or provide personal information that would be helpful to the committee as they consider awards.
Please reach out to Clara Garza at 325-672-9200 ext. 126 if you have questions regarding the process.

Eligibility for Tuition Assistance (K-12)
Tuition assistance is awarded by ACS on a year-by-year basis and to the extent funds are
available. Families are encouraged to apply early in the spring semester. Students must be in
good standing to receive an award: academic achievement, student involvement and behavior
are all taken into consideration in conjunction with demonstrated financial need.
For families new to ACS:
-The online enrollment application for the upcoming school year must be completed
-The Academic Baseline Assessment must be completed by the student(s)
These steps must be completed before the committee will consider the application.
